Children living close to Copenhagen Airport should have their health examined to determine if they are affected by ultrafine particles emitted by aircraft engines. This demand comes from several parties in Folektinget, the Danish Parliament, supported by a leading expert and grassroots organizations.

The proposal is backed by Leila Stockmarr, spokesperson for environmental issues for Enhedslisten, who plans to bring it up during a parliamentary consultation on Tuesday. Two ministers are expected to address how they intend to protect children and adults in Tårnby Municipality from »extensive particle pollution from Copenhagen Airport«.
