Never before has the revolving door of psychiatry spun faster. Patients are being admitted and discharged at an unprecedented rate.

New figures on readmissions for all of 2024 underline the fact that far too many people with severe mental illnesses receive inadequate treatment. This is the reaction from Jane Alrø Sørensen, Secretary General of Better Psychiatry (Bedre Psykiatri).
