The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration’s oversight of long pig transports to destinations deep in Europe is so deficient and inadequate that it may harm the animals and lead to extensive violations of regulations.

A systematic traffic of Danish piglets is directed to a small barn in a northern Italian mountain village, Campo Tures, with the indication that it is the endpoint and destination of the transports.
