The latest Gallup poll for Berlingske Tidende shows the Social Liberal Party in deep crisis with a mere 3.3 percent of the electorate, while the government coalition of Liberals, Conservatives and their parliamentary support party, the Danish People’s Party, only just maintain a majority.
If an election were held today, the poll suggests that the government would garner 90 mandates – just enough for a majority, while the opposition would score 85 mandates. The Social Liberal returns would shave away three of its current nine mandates.
