Partial Helmand withdrawal 2011?

The government and parties of the Defence Agreement will be deciding this autumn whether Denmark should reduce its contingent in Afghanistan’s Helmand Province, according to a plan due to be published today.

According to the introduction to the plan, which Politiken has a copy of, 2010 will see further training of Afghan troops in the Danish sector which will allow for a ‘more withdrawn, supporting role and a reduction of the Danish contingent’.
