Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen (Lib) was warned beforehand by a senior cabinet colleague against a decision by Foreign Minister Lene Espersen (Cons.) to go on vacation instead of taking part in a 5-nation foreign ministers meeting on Arctic delineation, according to a report in Berlingske Tidende.
According to the report, which cites a senior minister; Per Stig Møller (Cons.) – who a month previously had been reshuffled from the foreign to the culture ministry to make way for Espersen – told Løkke Rasmussen the decision not to attend was ‘a major mistake’.
