Ahead of a NATO defense ministers’ meeting on Thursday, it is clear that Denmark will not receive the desired recognition for its significant military investments in the Arctic.

In the ongoing debate over the alliance’s capability targets, the Danish government has advocated for the inclusion of these substantial investments among the specific responsibilities that NATO expects Denmark to undertake.
