Everyone agrees that food prices are high right now – you just need a trip to the supermarket to see it. However, the reasons behind this are a matter of debate.

On one side, Dansk Folkeparti and Danmarksdemokraterne argue that climate taxes are the reason for the steep price hikes and that these taxes should be abolished. On the other side, the Prime Minister has raised suspicions that some in the food industry are raising prices excessively, and this is now being investigated.
