Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen says Denmark supports an expansion of a UN mandate on a no-fly zone in Libya to include military attacks using precision bombing.

“As things are now, a no-fly zone will not be enough to prevent Gaddafi’s assault on opposition forces,” Løkke Rasmussen tells Ritzau, adding that the United States is working hard at the United Nations to get the Security Council to accept a mandate that goes further than a no-fly zone.
