My father hates it when people say ’yum’ and ’aaah’ while eating something delicious. At the new beautiful café, I couldn’t hold back.

It's hard to find a better place to have breakfast in downtown Copenhagen

What kind of place is this?

A new, beautiful café in a dead zone in the middle of Copenhagen, close to Blox and Lille Langebro. A somewhat hidden gem. The owners of Lido already run the immensely popular Apotek 57 on Fredericiagade where people line up down the street to feast on delicious bakery bread – just as they have recently opened Riviera in Nansensgade.

At Lido, there are also excellent freshly baked treats on display. Plus, plenty of other delights on the menu that change in an exemplary manner approximately every three weeks, ensuring there are always new, compelling reasons to visit. Often with an Italian accent.
