The wildest work I have ever experienced is …

»‘The Last Supper,’ which is one of Leonardo da Vinci’s most brilliant paintings. It perfectly captures the religious and pivotal biblical scene.

The painting is in the Santa Maria delle Grazie church in Milan, and I have visited it several times. The last time was during Milan Design Week in 2024. It is a ritual for me to pass by and experience it. And feel the great calm—the powerful feeling I get when I stand in front of it. It is bigger than all of us. It is so decadent and yet so raw—painted on a wall. Decadent, but also so simple.
