We flipped out over the butter. And had to repeatedly ask the waiter if it could really be true that something so relatively simple could taste so good:
Yeast – the kind that costs a few kroner at the supermarket – is crumbled onto a baking sheet, baked until it almost burns, mixed with melted butter, and then chilled. The taste is like the smell of freshly baked bread: inviting, encouraging, friendly.
