The new all-day restaurant on Århusgade has only been open about a month, but it already feels like an Østerbro institution.
We flipped out over the butter. And had to repeatedly ask the waiter if it could really be true that something so relatively simple could taste so good:
Yeast – the kind that costs a few kroner at the supermarket – is crumbled onto a baking sheet, baked until it almost burns, mixed with melted butter, and then chilled. The taste is like the smell of freshly baked bread: inviting, encouraging, friendly.
